1. Who is responsible for your information
Seven Commercial Brokers L.L.C-FZ is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We are a limited liability company licensed in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under license number 2653880.01.
Our address is Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. You can contact us about privacy at info@seven-brokers.com.
This policy is intended to reflect the principles of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 concerning the Protection of Personal Data, where applicable. Additional notices or contractual terms may apply to a particular engagement.
2. Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, selected service, message and confirmation of consent. Company and telephone details are optional. We also receive information you choose to provide when you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
Our hosting and security providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and security events. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits, pages viewed, broad location and device or browser categories.
Please send only information needed to explain your request. Do not submit passport copies, identity documents, payment card information, bank details or sensitive personal information through the website form. If an engagement requires further checks, we will discuss an appropriate method separately.
3. Why we use information and our legal basis
We use enquiry information to assess your request, communicate with you, identify relevant services and discuss a potential engagement. The form asks for your consent to this use. Where permitted by applicable law, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract or to perform an agreed engagement.
We use technical information to operate the website, prevent abuse and investigate security issues. We may process or retain information to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims, where applicable law permits or requires this.
We do not treat an enquiry as consent to unrelated marketing. We do not use the contact form to subscribe you to a mailing list or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.
4. Who receives information
We share information with service providers only as needed for their role. Vercel hosts the website, operates its security controls and provides aggregate web analytics. Resend processes contact-form messages for email delivery. Our business email provider receives and stores those messages in our mailbox.
If you ask us to explore a trade, relevant information may need to be shared with prospective counterparties or freight, customs, inspection and professional advisers. We discuss the engagement and disclose information appropriate to that purpose. The website does not automatically forward your enquiry to prospective counterparties.
We may disclose information where required by applicable law or a competent authority, or where necessary and permitted to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
5. International processing and transfers
Our providers and prospective trade counterparties may operate outside the UAE. Your information may therefore be processed in other countries, including countries with different privacy laws.
Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we must use an available lawful transfer mechanism, appropriate contractual protections or another permitted basis. We do not promise that all processing takes place in the UAE. Contact us if you need information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
6. How long information is kept
We retain enquiries only for as long as needed to respond, manage relevant follow-up and any resulting engagement, and meet applicable legal, accounting or dispute-related obligations. We consider the purpose, sensitivity and continuing relevance of the information when deciding retention.
Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised, subject to lawful retention needs and the normal operation of provider backups. Hosting logs, security events, email delivery records and aggregate analytics follow the relevant provider settings and our operational requirements. We do not claim a fixed deletion period for every category of information.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, server-side form validation, restricted service credentials and abuse controls to protect website enquiries. Access to information should be limited to people and providers who need it for their work.
No website, email system or transfer method is completely secure. You should avoid sending sensitive documents through ordinary enquiries and tell us promptly if you believe information shared with us has been compromised.
8. Cookies, analytics and the map
We do not add advertising pixels or a marketing cookie tracker. Vercel Web Analytics uses aggregate, privacy-focused measurement without third-party tracking cookies. We do not send enquiry fields to analytics or use custom analytics events to identify you.
Vercel Speed Insights measures website performance, including loading speed, responsiveness and visual stability. Its measurements include the page route and URL, browser, device, network information and country. We do not send enquiry fields to this service or use it to identify individual visitors.
The contact section includes an optional Google Maps embed. It is not loaded until you select Load Google map. Loading it connects your browser to Google, which may receive your IP address and browser information and may use cookies under its own privacy policy. You can instead use the directions link, which opens Google's service separately.
Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and other external services take you to services governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Your browser settings may allow you to block or remove cookies used by those services.
9. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law and its exceptions, you may request information about the processing of your personal data, access, correction, deletion, restriction or cessation of processing, or transfer of data where available. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent; withdrawal does not invalidate lawful processing already carried out.
To make a request, email info@seven-brokers.com with enough detail for us to identify the information and the action requested. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before responding. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, confidentiality or the rights of others. We will explain an applicable reason if we cannot fulfil a request.
You may also raise a concern with the competent UAE data protection authority where applicable. Contact us first if you would like us to investigate a concern about our handling of your information.
10. Children
Our website and commercial brokerage services are intended for business users and adults, not children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, providers or applicable requirements change. The revision date above identifies the current published version. Material changes will be explained on the website where appropriate.
